The CEB is very pleased to announce that from now on a new cloth is authorized for 5 pins competitions.
"The Simonis Laser 2.0 has the same composition (90% wool-10% nylon) and the same weight as the Simonis 300 Rapide cloth used successfully in carom.
The difference between the two products is only a few adjustments to the finish in order to adapt the Simonis Laser 2.0 more particularly to the game of 5 pins.
Simonis cloth Laser 2.0 results from the long successful experience of Simonis in the carom game, improving the technique of the cloth for the specific game of 5 pins. In this game the ball has to roll absolutely straight on the length of the table, several times, to reach the skittles : precision and speed on these 5 pins shots, require a dedicated product like Laser 2.0. Simonis has been able to improve its already existing successful Laser cloth taking it to a still higher level of smoothness and progressivity of deceleration of the balls, speed and long lasting life on the table. These new clothes will be used for Euro-League Club Teams 5 pins events.
