Please find below some of the decisions taken during the Board meeting from 27th June which take place in Bottrop (Germany):
- The European Championship 2015 in Brandenburg was a great success and we can already announce that it will be played again in 2017.
- Dietmar Schingten (“Did”) was appointed as the CEB new Youth-Director ad-interim. The CEB board is wishing him a lot of success in his new function.
- The next European Cup National Teams 5 Pins will take place in Herstal (Belgium) in spring 2016.
- In order to promote the female billiard, the CEB board has decided to replace the European Championship for Ladies played every two years by an European Ladies Cup 3 cushion and an European Ladies Cup Libre which could be organized each year by National Federations. During the first 3 years, there will be no entry fees for the players. Moreover the first two of the Ladies CEB 3 cushion ranking will receive a wild card to play in the European Championship in Brandenburg 2017.
