RONCHIN/NANTES – The audience that likes to watch three cushion and balk-line can look forward to a great program in France this weekend. Today, Thursday, 20 October is the start of the European Grand Prix 47/2 in Ronchin near to Lille, a tournament with international specialists. In addition, a national three-cushion tournament is played in Nantes this weekend from Friday to Sunday. The matches in Ronchin will be broadcast live on kozoom.com from Friday 14.00.
No less than 42 players from eight different countries have registered for the event in Ronchin. That made it necessary to play first qualification rounds to come to 36 players in the main tournament.
The group stage will be played on Saturday at 16.00, the knockout phase is as of 17.15 on Saturday and the quarterfinals at 20.45.
The semi-finals take place on Sunday at 11.00 am and the finals at 15.00.
The winner will be awarded 1.600 euros, the other podium places with 600 euros.
