The former CEB Sport News took the name of "CEB OFFICIAL NEWS".
This is an official CEB communication. All the recipients are kindly requested to take it into account for what they are concerned.
1. SEASON'S GREETINGS
On behalf of the CEB Board, I extend my warmest wishes to all federations, players, referees, partners and friends. May you have a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
May 2025 bring you happiness, success, and countless exciting moments in our beloved sport.

2. EUROYOUTH LONGONI NEXTGEN 2025
After the big success of the 2024 edition the Euroyouth 2025 will take place again in Murcia, Spain, thanks to the collaboration with the Royal Spanish Billiards Federation. The date is in April 2025, 18 to 21. It will include 4 European Championships: 3-Cushion U21 and U17, 5-Pins U21 and Biathlon NT U21. Please be informed that the EC 3C U17 will be played on match tables; the Biathlon NT rules have been changed, please read the new rules in the "Sport-Rules" section on CEB website. Like the past edition, the EC 3C U21 will be counted in the Longoni NextGen ranking 2024-2025, together with the 2 GP Longoni 3-Cushion U21 already scheduled in the CEB calendar in Zoersel (BE) in January and in Blois (FR) in August. The top 3 athletes in this ranking at the end of the three events will be awarded with a CEB Wild Cards for the next European Championship 3-Cushion Individual of the sport season 2025-2026
3. COUPE D'EUROPE 3-CUSHION 2025
The Coupe d'Europe 3-Cushion will take place in Porto (Portugal) in July 2025, 8 to 13. The new venue is the Pavilhão Municipal do Lagarteiro, located approx 2 Km away from the Estádio do Dragão. The rules for this competitions have been updated, please check it in the "Sport-Rules" section on CEB website.
4. REGISTRATIONS REMINDER.
Tomorrow December 18th is the last day available to register to the Artistic GP in Izmir. Registrations info at this link.

December 24: European Championships Artistic Individual and National Teams in Florange (France).
January 2: Coupe d'Europe Classic in Douarnenez (France)
January 2: European Championship 3-Cushion U25 in Aahrus (Denmark)
January 8: European Championships 3-Cushion Ladies National Teams and Individual in Aahrus (Denmark)
January 13: European Championships 3-Cushion National Teams and Individual in Ankara (Turkiye)
January 22: Euroyouth Longoni NextGen 2025 in Murcia (Spain)
5. CEB - NATIONAL FEDERATIONS
During 2024, the CEB Board has multiplied direct contacts with the national federations, to complete general meetings and assemblies.
These direct discussions are an opportunity to discuss particular problems, projects and development of our sport.
What are the conclusions of these meetings ?
Some federations need some documents, tools and opportunities, to teach and to develop Carom in their countries.
What we have already done ?
CEB tried to answer to the specific requests, with adapted solutions:
- creation of the Member’s corner on the CEB website to share good pratices and documents, between all the members of the CEB community
- to provide, with the help of partners, some Carom tables (Albania for example)
- organization of events for promoting Carom (in Norway for example)
- creation of the certification for CEB referees in the countries without national structure
What we will do in the future ?
CEB will continue to be fully involved for helping the national federations in the future including a financial help for organizing CEB sport events, especially in the federations with limited financial capacities.
