3. CEB CALENDAR FOR SPORT SEASON 2024-2025.
New dates have been recently added to the official CEB calendar:
Coupe d'Europe Classic Teams: Douarnenez (France), March 2025, 27th to 30th.
European Championship 3-Cushion U25: Aarhus (Denmark), March 2025, 28th to 30th.
European Championship 3-Cushion Ladies National Teams and Individual: Aarhus (Denmark), April 2025, 1st to 5th.
The CEB is finalizing the sport calendar for next season. At this time we are still looking for organizers for:
the European Championship 5-Pins Individual, European Championship 5-Pins National Teams and European Championship 5-Pins Ladies.
We strongly invite any interested organizer to step forward and contact us as soon as possible.
4. PROCEDURE FOR "PERMISSION TO PLAY" THE COUPE D'EUROPE FOR ATHLETES FROM OUTSIDE CEB.
The home federation of the concerned athlete must send to the CEB Secretary General an official letter. In this letter it must be mentioned that the athlete is authorized to play the Coupe d'Europe for a foreign club, the name of the club and the country of this club. The concerned continental Confederation must be also informed and in copy of this letter. The deadline is August 31st for the sport season 2024-2025.
5. CALL FOR BIDS TO HOST THE NEXT "ALL-IN-ONE" EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN 2026.
CEB received 2 official applications before the deadline: Denmark and Turkey.
Following the withdrawal of Denmark, this mega-event is therefore attributed to the Turkish Billiard Federation.
Please note the decided date in your calendar: 14-22 February 2026
The CEB Board and TBF are already working closely together to perfect the organization of this major event for our sport.
6. 1ST "CEB-REFEREE CERTIFICATION".
Following the request of some federations, the CEB is pleased to announce the holding of the 1st "CEB-Referee Certification" for national federations that do not yet have CEB International referees, which will take place in Athens on October 4 and 5, 2024. The training will take place on the first day and the theoretical and practical exams on the second.
