In the other semifinal, Flavio Piccolomini and Massimo Montechiesa, fought bravely. Piccolomini finally won by 3-1. Then it was the time of the final and again, Cucchiara left his opponent at zero. One more 3-0 for Emanuel who didn't lose a single set in this championship and will take home his fourth consecutive U21 title.
Gold medal: Emanuel Cucchiara (Italy)
Silver medal: Flavio Piccolomini (Italy)
Bronze medals: Massimo Montechiesa (Italy) and Magnus Petersen (Denmark)
