DAY 3: T.KLOMPENHOUWER WINS THE PREDATOR GP IN GANDIA WITHOUT EMOTIONS.
This is the third edition of the Predator GP and the third victory for Therese Klompenhouwer. She showed once again her supremacy in the European Ladies 3-Cushion field; the gap between the Queen and the other competitors is still there waiting to be filled.
Therese won the semifinal in 24 innings against Gulsen Degener (30-14, high run of 7) and then outplayed Guzin Mujde Karakasli in 19 innings (30-6) without emotions.
The emotion was reserved for the semifinal; the Turkish Lady had to fight an heartbreaking battle with Karina Jetten before facing the final match. Karakasli finally won this battle to the last innings by 30-27 in 36/35.

DAY 2: DOUBLE CHALLENGE NETHERLANDS-TURKIYE IN THE SEMIFINALS OF THE PREDATOR GP IN GANDIA.
The morning session today determined the group winners and the two best runners up qualified to the quarters final.
Therese Klompenhouwer (NL) won group A with the best avg so far (1,190) and 6 match points . Monika Steinberger (AT) was the runner up (4-0,330).
Charlotte Sorensen (DK) won group B (6-0,765), Irena Michalkova (CZ) was the runner up (4-0,472).
In group C Monique Van Exter (NL) and Ana Juarez (ES) got 4 match points each but the Dutch won the group because of a higher average (0,657 - 0,423).
Karina Jetten (NL) was the winner in group D (6-0,742). Steffi Tram (DE) finished in the second place (4-0,519).
Group E: Gulsen Degener (TR) won this group (6-0,688) and Sylvia Eckel (NL) was the runner up (4-0,427)
Francine Van Yperen (ES) won the group E (6-0,472). Guzin Mujde Karakasli (TR) was second (4-0,522).
The two best runners up were Karakasli and Tram.
The top 8 ranked after the qualification groups qualified to quarters final:

Klompenhouwer's match was the first to end. Therese scored 30 points in 22 innings while Steffi stopped at 7.
Then Jetten, Karakasli and Degener won their respective matches too.
The outcome is a double challenge between Netherlands and Turkiye in the semifinals.
The semis are scheduled for tomorrow morning:
at 10:00: Klompenhouwer - Degener
at 12:00: Jetten - Karakasli

DAY 1: THERESE KLOMPENHOUWER IS LEADING THE PROVISIONAL QUALIFICATION RANKING OF THE PREDATOR GP.
The first rounds of the qualification groups took place today in the Hotel Gandia Palace, in Gandia, Spain.
All the groups played four of the six matches planned. The two last matches of each group will be played tomorrow morning.
Thanks to a very nice initiative of the organizers the opening ceremony this morning was held in front of the students of a local school invited to attend and discover the sport of billiard. They could then stay and enjoy watching the first games.
At the end of this day Therese Klompenhouwer is the leader of the provisional qualification ranking with 4 match points and 1,041; she is followed by Charlotte Sorensen (4-0,833) and Karina Jetten (4-0,793). Monique Van Exter, Gulsen Degener and Guzin Mujde Karakasli are also leading their respective group with 4 match points.
The best run of 6 so far was scored by Pauline Beersma-Gerritsen).
The best matches were by Therese Klompenhouwer (1,250) and Karina Jetten (1,136).
The games will continue tomorrow morning to decide the 6 group winners and the 2 best runners up that will advance to the quarters final scheduled for 6PM.

THE THIRD PREDATOR GP 3-CUSHION LADIES IS READY TO START IN GANDIA, SPAIN.
As already announced Predator has extended the collaboration with CEB supporting the organization of 2 Grand Prix 3-Cushion Ladies for the season 2023/2024. As a result of these efforts the third Predator Grand Prix 3-Cushion Ladies - Ciutat de Gandia - is ready to start in the Hotel Gandia Palace, in Gandia, Spain, from 10th to 12th May 2024. The fourth Predator Grand Prix is already in the CEB calendar and will take place in Herstal, Belgium, from August 30th to September 1st 2024.
The event in Gandia is hosted in the hall of a four star hotel in the turistic city close to the Gandia beach, the Hotel Gandia Palace. It's organized by the Billiard Club of Gandia and the Billiard Federation of the Valencian Region, under the auspices of the Royal Spanish Billiard Federation. Predator is the main sponsor and the local authorities greatly supported this event. The matches will be played on Simonis cloths and Aramith billiard balls. Kozoom will broadcast the event. The total prize money for the 8 top ranked will be €4250,00. No entry fee is to be paid.
24 of the best women athletes are expected to show up in Gandia, included in this number there are the 8 top ranked players in the CEB Ladies 3-Cushion ranking. These events are most important since they award points in the CEB ranking.
The 24 participants are divided in 6 groups of 4 playing round-robin. The 6 group winners and 2 best seconds will advance in the quarters final. Groups will start on Friday morning, the quarters final are planned on Saturday 6PM. The semifinals and the final are scheduled on Sunday.
