VIERSEN IS ONCE AGAIN THE WORLD HEART OF 3-CUSHION BILLIARD
The Festhalle in Viersen (Germany) is once again the place to be for the world 3-cushion elite. The UMB World Championship 3-Cushion National Teams is ready to start and it's a long story that dates back to 1981, in Viersen since 1990.
This season the Vietnamese team is the defending champion, composed by Q.C.Tran and P.V.Bao, the same team who won the title in 2024. Spanish team (Legazpi and Jimenez) took the silver medal.
The 16 participating teams are representing the 4 continental Confederations: 8 teams from the CEB (Europe), 3 from ACBC (Asia), 3 from America (CPB) and 2 from Africa/Middle East (AMECC).
The games will start on March 13th until Sunday 16th.
The format is a classic round robin qualification phase (4 groups of 4) where the first two from each group will advance to the next KO rounds.
