In the 73° World Championship 3-Cushion Individual in Sharm El-Sheikh the Dutchman Dick Jaspers (56 years old) crowned himself World Champion for the fifth time in his life. He conquered the title against the silver medalist Murat Naci Coklu from Turkey in a hearth-breaking match ended with a score of 50-47 in 32/31 innings. At the Regency Park Resort in Sharm El-Sheikh Semih Sayginer crowned himself with golden prize. The Turkish star had a not easy road to the final but his high class emerged at last. The Spanish champion won another prestigious trophy in the Olympic capital at the Lausanne Billard Masters 2021 hosted at Casino Montbenon. After winning his preliminary group Sanchez reached the final beating R. Forthomme in the quarter finals, J. Bury in the semifinals and then he prevailed on T. The first UMB World Cup after the long pandemic stop organized by Biljart Evenementen Nederland under the auspices of KNBB has come to an exciting end. In the Dutch arena of Veghel, there were plenty of surprises and some of the big guns had to leave the competition earlier than expected. Amazing 5-Pins Invitational tournament in Calangianus, Sardinia region (Italy). Local Sardinian player Alessandro Mascia defeated all the opponent players with a clean sheet scoring (2-0). After 4 days of interesting competition, the BC Kladno 5-Pins event has come to the end. 64 matches were played in the group stage and 31 matches in the KO round. 41 players from 7 nations battled for the final victory. In the semifinals, the tension was high with two 3-2 scores, uncertain until the last inning. Dick Jaspers wins the World 3-Cushion Grand Prix organized by UMB and Five&Six in South Korea, two Koreans get second and third position, Hwang Bong-Ju and Kim Jung Tae, Torbjörn Blomdahl after a big tournament loses whith Kim and gets the fourth place. After three exciting days of competition in the Kozoom Studio in Andernos the Dutchman Raymund Swertz is the winner of the first Classic Race played in balkline 71/2. The current European Champion in this discipline did not disappoint the spectators, showing phenomenal speed of execution combined with great technical ability.
