UMB has published the invitation for the World Championship 3-Cushion National Teams (http://files.umb-carom.org/Uploads/-861665767Viersen%20General%20Information_2017.pdf) which is taking place from 9th to 12th March 2017 in Viersen (Germany). CEB has published new rankings

In preparation for the European Championships 2017 in Brandenburg an de Havel CEB has asked for the results of the national championships of the member federations. After the deadline CEB has now updated the rankings and published them under Infos/Player Ranking. »
Jung Han Heo wins, but so does Jaspers

HURGHADA EL GOUNA - The El Gouna World Cup had a surprise winner: 39-year old Jung Han Heo from Korea. The 2016 World Cup cycle's winner had a more familiar name: Dick Jaspers. Frédéric Caudron remains on top of the world ranking, he will start 2017 as the nr. 1. HURGHADA/EL GOUNA – The last World Cup in 2016 in Egypt, closing the cycle of seven events, is the stage for many well known European players. There is a total field of 150, the Europeans are with 92. Most remarkable is that the German Martin Horn returns to the international podium, as well as the Dutchman Dave Christiani. HURGHADA/EL GOUNA - The European players tried hard, but the Koreans were just too strong. A place in the final four for Spain's Andres Carrion, that was the best the old countries could do. The other three spots on the podium were all for Korean players, with eighteen year old Myung Woo Cho on the highest step. He is the new junior world champion. LAUSANNE – The highlight of his year will still be the Bordeaux world title. But winning the Billiard Masters in Lausanne was a fine cherry on Daniel Sanchez' cake. The 42-year old Spaniard won the event in the Swiss IOC city on Sunday, after three days of uninterrupted wins. MARSEILLE – Two Spanish players, one French and one Dutchman battled it out for the title at the Euro Grand Prix artistic in Marseille. The 35-year-old French champion Michael Hammen was the well deserved winner.
