International 5-pins Tournament Rouen (France)

The Rouen Billiard Club did host this weekend (April 13th and 14th) an International 5-pins tournament with 30 players coming from several European countries (France, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Luxemburg and Czech Republic). The players were split into 6 groups of 5. The first 2 of each group and 4 best amongst the players ranked at the third place were qualified for the final round. The French champions of Douarnenez have successfully defended their European team title in the classic disciplines. The winning threesome of Swertz, Le Deventec and Soumagne defeated another French team, Chartres, in the final. From 29 – 31 March, the fans of the classic billiard disciplines can feast on world class matches, played in Douarnenez, France. The French team of the same name (Douarnenez Valdys) will defend their title in the Coupe d’ Europe for classic teams. All matches can be followed on Kozoom. World Championships started On Thursday morning this year’s 3-Cushions Team-Worldchampionships did start. For the 33rd time the global champions will be searched and found.
