From October 5th to 15th 2017, the city of NECOCHEA, Argentina, organizes the 23rd world championship of 5-pins individual.The main tournament will be played with 48 players in total. These are 8 players resulted from the Qualification Round and 40 seeded players registered by the Confederations players for the conquest of the supreme title. The first 3 Cushion Carom Billiards World Cup to be held in Cheongju City now has its first Podium. First place Haeng-Jik Kim, second place Murat Naci Coklu and in third Lütfi Cenet, Dick Jaspers. 140 players, 46 Europeans, against 92 Asians, 52 of which were Korean, battled it out in 207 matches during a week of a successfully organised competition, the thirteenth to be held in South Korea. This weekend, Carlos Anguita (ES) won the 2017 3 Cushion Junior World Championship on his home turf in Los Narejos, Spain. After two years in the hands of the Koreans, the title returns to Europe. Carlos Anguita (ES) managed to take the lead in the semi-finals against Korean Myung Woo Cho (KR), junior world champion in 2016.
